About the book
Pack your suitcase! [Name] travels to Italy, says ciao, tastes pasta, picks lemons, sees the Colosseum in Rome, dances the tarantella and waves to the gondolas in Venice. A personalized travel book with new words, fun activities and a little lesson in daring to try.
Your child is the main character and travels with a grown-up from the suitcase at home, through the airport and the plane and all around Italy. Along the way your child learns where the country is, what the flag looks like, and how to say hello and thank you. The text is written for reading aloud to children aged 4–8, and the facts are kept simple and correct.
Picture your vacation, when your child points at the flag and says “Ciao!” to the first person you meet. The book makes the new feel exciting instead of strange, and afterwards it’s a keepsake from your trip.
Inside the book:
- 16 illustrated story pages with text on one side and the picture on the other
- 10 activity pages: color the flag, draw and write, a quiz, find-and-tick and a word card (Ciao, Buongiorno, Grazie, Per favore, Sì, No, Arrivederci, Acqua)

Delivery and shipping
The PDF is emailed to you right away, with no shipping cost. Printed books are made when you order and ship within 5–8 business days. Shipping to the US costs $6.99 and is free on orders over $60.
How to personalize the book
Type your child’s name and choose their look: skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, eyes, glasses and clothes. Add a greeting at the front of the book if you like. Flip through the whole book, then choose the format. You can edit the book in your cart before you pay.
Can I see the whole book before I buy?
Yes. Once you have typed the name and made the figure, you can flip through the whole book.
When will I get it?
The PDF arrives by email right away. Printed books and posters are printed locally in the US and UK and normally arrive in 4–7 business days. Laminated card sets are shipped from Denmark, so allow about 6–10 extra business days.
Can more than one child be included?
Many of the books can include up to four children. Choose the number of children in the first step. If the option isn't there, the product is made for one child.
Can I change something after I order?
