About the book

It’s December, and a big Christmas heart hangs in the town square. It glows a little brighter every time someone is kind. In the book, it’s your child who helps, shares the last Christmas clementine, waits their turn and says both thank you and sorry. And when a balloon floats away, your child finds calm again with three deep breaths.

The book is written for reading aloud during the Christmas season: short pages, calm pastel illustrations and a refrain your child can quickly join in on. “I can be kind. It makes my heart warm.”

Picture December at the kitchen table, when your child shares the last clementine all by themselves and says, “I can be kind.” This is the kind of book you take out year after year, a reminder of what Christmas is really about.

You choose name, gender, skin tone, hair color, hairstyle, glasses and clothes, so the figure looks like your child. Preview the whole book before you buy, and look forward to the moment your child sees themselves on the cover.

Delivery and shipping

The PDF is emailed to you right away, with no shipping cost. Printed books are made when you order and ship within 5–8 business days. Shipping to the US costs $6.99 and is free on orders over $60.

How to personalize the book

Type your child’s name and choose their look: skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, eyes, glasses and clothes. Add a greeting at the front of the book if you like. Flip through the whole book, then choose the format. You can edit the book in your cart before you pay.

Can I see the whole book before I buy?

Yes. Once you have typed the name and made the figure, you can flip through the whole book.

When will I get it?

The PDF arrives by email right away. Printed books and posters are printed locally in the US and UK and normally arrive in 4–7 business days. Laminated card sets are shipped from Denmark, so allow about 6–10 extra business days.

Can more than one child be included?

Many of the books can include up to four children. Choose the number of children in the first step. If the option isn't there, the product is made for one child.

Can I change something after I order?

Write to us as soon as possible at hello@myminimindset.com, and we will help if the book hasn't gone to print yet.
