Your child’s Missing Letters
About the book
One morning, the sign with your child’s name is empty. The wind has blown all the letters out into the world. Your child puts on their backpack, with water and an apple, and heads out to find them: in the garden, in the woods, by the lake and on the beach.
Each letter is found by an animal that starts with the same letter. B comes back with the bear and the word brave. S comes with the squirrel and the word strong. If the same letter appears twice in the name, a new animal and a new word come along. That’s why no two books are alike.
In the end, the name hangs on the door again, and your child has gotten a kind word for every letter. If the name has fewer than twelve letters, the walk home passes by small good deeds: helping, sharing, drinking water and being brave.
Picture your child’s face when they discover that the story is built from their very own name. It’s a book there is only one of, just like your child.
You choose the name, gender, skin tone, hair color, hairstyle, glasses and clothes, so the figure looks like your child. Preview the whole book before you buy, and look forward to the moment your child sees themselves on the cover.
