Your child’s Big Book of Vegetables – A Personalized Fact Book About 34 Vegetables
About the book
Why are carrots orange? Why do onions make us cry? And is a tomato a fruit? In this personalized fact book, your child goes exploring in the kitchen garden and at the market and meets 34 vegetables.
Each vegetable gets its own spread with a little lesson: which part of the plant we eat, where it comes from, why it looks the way it does, what it does for the body, a fun fact and a question to talk about. The book begins with the parts of a plant and ends with eating the rainbow.
At the back there is a page of kind words and tips for the grown-up reading aloud. The character is customized to look like your child, and their name appears throughout the book.
Picture dinner, when your child explains why onions make you cry and wants to taste a new vegetable. Curiosity is the best road to healthy habits.
